Success Story

“Good job, Ms. Ceniceros!”

Ms. Ceniceros was admitted to Las Ventanas de Socorro to regain her strength and independence after hospitalization. Ms. Ceniceros came to Las Ventanas with poor endurance, strength, and decreased mobility.
Upon admission, she required some assistance for all daily living tasks and functional transfers. She was able to walk for short distances only using a front-wheeled walker and had some mild cognitive deficits.

Ms. Ceniceros worked hard with her physical, occupational, and speech therapists during her stay. Upon her discharge, she was using a front-wheeled walker 100 feet and able to complete her self-care tasks without assistance. The family was very happy with her progress and stated that they had not seen their mom look this good in a while.
